The Luming Series is BONJOUR LUXE’s flagship handmade mattress collection, using horsehair, wool, silk and other natural fillings layered by hand. The name "Luming" evokes the gentle call of deer at dawn, symbolising warmth, calm and a return to natural sleep.
What fillings are used in Luming Series mattresses?
Each Luming mattress is filled with natural horsehair, wool, cotton, camel hair, alpaca and silk—six types of pure natural materials. No foam, memory foam or chemical adhesives are used. Cover fabrics are pure cotton, wool and silk.
Who is the Luming Series best suited for?
The Luming Series emphasises a balance of support and breathability with a medium-firm feel. It is ideal for back and side sleepers, people who prefer a slightly firmer mattress, and anyone who values spinal support and natural temperature regulation.
Can I customise the firmness and size of a Luming mattress?
Yes. Every Luming mattress supports custom sizing (1.5 m, 1.8 m, 2.0 m and non-standard dimensions) and firmness (firm / medium / soft). Zoned support can also be tuned to your body type and sleep posture, handcrafted by our artisans.
What certifications does the Luming Series hold?
All Luming mattresses carry OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 Class I (baby level) certification and GOTS organic cotton certification. Products are tested by Intertek (ITS) and SGS, and the brand has been a continuous ISPA member since 2014.
How long does a Luming mattress last, and can it be renovated?
Thanks to its disassemblable, fully hand-stitched construction, a Luming mattress can last over 10 years. The natural filling layers can be partially repaired and renovated, significantly extending the mattress lifespan compared to machine-made alternatives.
